JOIN THE COMMITTEE   WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR COMMITTEE We are getting to that time of the year when the canvassing of roles for the committee begins. As you will all know, all positions on the committee are declared vacant at the AGM. It is hoped that this year the dreaded Covid-19 situation will be much more stable and allow our AGM to be held in the usual month of July and that there will be no limitations for meetings etc to navigate around. Members are asked to look at the roles that need to be filled and to strongly consider their capacity to step into one of these to support the club. 2023/2024 MEMBERSHIP FEES DUE Reminder that membership fees are now post due as they were required to be paid by the end of June. Membership fees are $50.00. A late fee of $10.00 applies. It would be appreciated if all fees are paid on or before the June meeting. Any member not intending to renew are requested to let the secretary know. Payment options include: -Cash or cheque at a General Meeting. -EFT transfer to the Clubs Westpac account BSB 035045 Account 403479. Print your own receipt. -By direct deposit at a nearest Westpac quoting your membership number on the deposit. Friday 16th February 2024 AAAC GENERAL MEETING at 8 pm, Glandore Club Rooms Clarke Avenue Glandore. FEBRUARY is the 40th Anniversary of the clubs formation, come along, celebrate the milestone and enjoy some Birthday Cake. Our Monthly General Club Meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of each month 8pm except December in the Combined Car Clubs Room, Clark Ave., Glandore. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AAAC Bruce Rounsefell, Alan Kohler and Arthur Doecke cutting the 36th Birthday cake at the Feb 2020 General meeting About the Club: The AAAC started in February 1984 thanks to 3 or 4 people who wanted to start a metropolitan car club different from other clubs of the day. They wanted an all make car club that included families and friends in its activities, and to have frequent car runs to allow the member's participation. The AAAC aims to promote the restoration and more importantly the use of historic vehicles with the whole family joining in and enjoying fun outings and other social events.
