COMMITTEE POSITIONS VACANT
JOIN THE COMMITTEE
WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR COMMITTEE
We are getting to that time of the year when the canvassing of roles for the committee begins.
As you will all know, all positions on the committee are declared vacant at the AGM.
Members are asked to look at the roles that need to be filled and to strongly consider their capacity to step into one of these to support the club. Please ask any member of the committee what is involved in these roles, or better still, ask to attend a committee meeting as an observer…you are welcome.
The following roles need to be filled at the next AGM:
PRESIDENT
VICE – PRESIDENT
SECRETARY
CLUB CAPTAIN
MEMBERSHIP OFFICER
HISTORIC VEHICLE REGISTRAR
EDITOR
TREASURER
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Some, but not all, of the members currently doing these roles will stay on the committee. Without a committee the club wont/cant function. Similarly, its not reasonable to expect the same people to stay on the management all the time. We have 87 members. The club almost runs itself. Think about it
